Mike Brewer There’s something about fast Japanese cars that really turns me on! Don’t get me wrong I’m not about to start wearing my baseball cap backwards and listening to Snoop Dawg sing the virtues of the fast and the furious, but a saloon car with big bolt on bits and massive alloys sitting on rubber band tires floats my boat.

Banger Racing - Smashing Up Old Used Cars

Banger-racing Bank holiday weekend, and rather than build cars I went to watch them get destroyed.

I went to watch banger racing at arena Essex.

At the event I went to there were mini stocks which is stock car racing for under 16’s, and lightning rods which are modified Ford Sierras, although to some they may look like scrap they are complex machines which cost a fortune to build. It’s a formula that's taken very serious by the drivers.
